ISHIB is a unique non-profit professional membership organization devoted to improving the health expectancy and life of ethnic populations. ISHIB was founded in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1986 to respond to the problem of high blood pressure among ethnic populations. ISHIB will convene its 22nd Annual International Interdisciplinary Conference on Hypertension and Related Risk Factors in Ethnic Populations in Orlando, Florida from June 21-24, 2007. ISHIB2007 will bring together leading healthcare practitioners, researchers, and public health professionals from around the world to share ideas and generate solutions to bridge the gap in minority health.
