JOIN ISHIB in New Orleans! ISHIB is a unique, non-profit, professional, membership organization devoted to improving the health and life expectancy of ethnic populations. ISHIB was founded in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1986 to respond to the problem of high blood pressure among ethnic populations. ISHIB will convene its 23rd Annual International Interdisciplinary Conference on Hypertension and Related Risk Factors in Ethnic Populations (ISHIB2008) in New Orleans, Louisiana from July 18-20, 2008. ISHIB2008 will bring together leading healthcare practitioners, researchers, and public health professionals from around the world to share ideas and generate solutions to bridge the gap in minority health.
