ISHIB Awards Program
Since 1986, ISHIB has recognized individuals and organizations for their support, contributions, and special advances in medical research and community outreach. The program encourages hypertension-related research efforts and community programs designed for ethnic populations. Awards are presented during a special ceremony at the annual conference.

ISHIB offers conference awards for Distinguished Researchers, Community Service and Student Health Professionals.

ISHIB, with the support of GlaxoSmithKline, provides two scholarship awards. The Medical Fellowship Program is designed to attract individuals who are interested in being certified as Hypertension Specialist to attend and participate at the ISHIB2008 conference. The activity seeks representation from medical residency/fellowship programs. The second scholarship, The Master Clinicians Program recognizes clinicians who have become leaders in their fields by implementing and promoting new clinical care management programs.
