Taxi service is available to and from the Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport; the fare is about $20 one-way.

Puerto Rico is a commonwealth of the United States, therefore no passports or visas are necessary. US citizens may travel freely in and out of the island without going through immigration or customs. Foreign citizens have the same requirements as for entering the US. The Puerto Rico Convention Bureau can assist with the State Department in expediting visas.
