Ethnicity & Disease
About Ethnicity & Disease
Ethnicity & Disease is the official peer-reviewed journal of ISHIB. The journal provides a comprehensive source of information on the causal relationships in the etiology of common illnesses through the study of ethnic patterns of disease. The broadly multidisciplinary journal draws from research in epidemiology, genetics, health services, social biology, and anthropology.
The journal’s subscribers are physicians, medical researchers and other healthcare providers who treat patients and conduct research in the United States and abroad. The controlled circulation includes library subscriptions to medical and other institutions of higher education. Distributed quarterly, Ethnicity & Disease has taken its place in medical research to advance the body of knowledge related to health disparities among ethnic populations.
This refereed serial is indexed in Index Medicus, MEDLINE, Cambridge Scientific Abstracts, and BIOSIS.
